Misc. Updates

We successfully cancelled our contracts with Sprint without any early termination fees or problems. Easy peasy! We chose Tracfone for our new prepaid cell phone service, but we may consider T-Mobile in the future. It's a lot easier right now for us to pay $40 for 200 minutes each with Tracfone that will last 90 days rather than pay $200 up-front for a year (1,000 minutes each) with T-Mobile. That's the good thing about being contract-free, though -- we can switch providers whenever we want!

Both Jared and I are sick, sick, sick. I got sick almost 2 weeks ago with a cold, and then 2 days ago with what I assume is tonsillitis. So right now I have a mixture of a lingering cold and tonsillitis. So far, it seems like Jared just has a cold. It's pretty bummerific, though. It's bad enough when just one of us is sick, but both of us being sick is ridonkulous! We have been needing new groceries for weeks now, but it seems like I have spent most of that time sleeping and trying to recover. So it was really nice when Jared came home today with bags and bags of groceries, courtesy of his parents. Before then, our fridge was practically empty except for condiments like ketchup, soy sauce, salsa, etc. - what good are those alone? So thank you to them. It's extremely appreciated.

Other than that, there isn't much else to mention... I have been spending the last week or two in bed for the most part, with Jared going to and from work (and now going to and from school as well.) I'm starting to feel a little bit better to the point where I can start walking around and working on things again. I just have to hope I'll continue to get better rather than contracting yet another new disease that will take another 1-2 weeks away from me! You never know, with my luck.. :)
