Short and sweet (but more like sour?)

So I just realized that being approved for financial aid doesn't automatically mean that you were approved for a grant. I looked at the documents we received in regards to Jared's financial aid status for the summer semester more thoroughly today, and realized that we weren't approved for a grant at all - we were approved for a loan. Not good!

Obviously, we don't want to take out a loan if we don't have to. But we also have no money right now to put into tuition. I called the financial aid office and they said that we weren't approved for a grant, which is why we were approved for a loan instead. So a grant is out of the picture. I have been applying to a few jobs, but have yet to hear back from anybody, so I can't see myself helping out in that regard right now either. Any ideas?? Do we have to go in debt to get an education, or are there other alternatives?

  1. oh no! That's too bad! If you can get an education without going into debt.. good question! He has a lot of schooling ahead of him.. and pharmacy school is expensive! I'll keep my eyes open for job openings for you though! Good luck!
