I also had a yummy lunch at Chilis with mi madre, and got some nifty presents from mi padre. Jared also got me some great presents, including some beautimous roses and a balloon.
Couldn't decide which picture of the roses was my favorite! They're just so BEAUTIMOUS!
He also got me The Sims 3. I hope to play that game... someday... Haha. EA Games is very elitist with their system requirements, apparently. You have to have a pretty nice computer to be able to play it. I was able to get it installed on our little lappytop, but then it wouldn't start because we it said we don't have a good enough video card. It also won't install on my Mac because I have to have the newest version of Mac OS - Leopard. Not cool. So I ripped the disc image, saved the serial number, and sold it on eBay. When we eventually get a better computer, I'll be able to play it through the disc image! But SHHHH!!! Don't tell anyone, cuz I'm pretty sure what I did is very illegal. Ahem.
Today we have been packing like pack rats that are high on something. Kind of. By that I mean that we have been packing like crazy, but we both get very easily distracted (like now -- I'm blogging and Jared is lying on the floor, playing the bongo drum right next to me...) :) But we'll get back to packing soon enough. I've been selling as much stuff as I can today as well. We sold this table that was in our back yard area place. We sold it for free. It was there when we moved in. A guy came to pick it up, and we discovered there was a big huge wasp nest under it. Jared was putting it in the back of their car when he discovered that. And before he could tell them, they were already leaving. But he said he didn't see any wasps. That would be bad if there were... that would cause a few accidents, I am guessing. NOT GOOD.
Here's what our mess of a house looked like last night:
The colors are crazy because the MESS is crazy! AHHHH!
But Jared has done really well today and it looks much better now.
We found a really cool way of packing clothes. Here is our family secret, handed down to you fellow beings:
vacuum pack from Alisa on Vimeo.
It looks even cooler in real life, when you do it yourself. It's hard to record the shrinking clothes for some reason. But it's MAGIC!
I can't think of anything else to say, even though I desperately want a reason to not pack right now. But, hence, therefore, and whereby.... ..... I shant continue any longer. I fare thee well. And bid thee a sweet goodbye, good day, and good eve. Until next time...
haha so funny! I can get you boxes if you need them that badly!!! LOVE YA
ReplyDeleteYour salutation reminds me of something Willy Wonka would say... in the original movie, of course.
