reginka

We had a grand ole time at the Regina concert. Unfortunately, we must've bought the wrong type of batteries because (after putting brand new batteries in) the camera died immediately upon turning it on. So we had to settle for cell phone pictures. These are the best shots Jared was able to get:

We were able to get (almost) as close as you possible can -- we were in the "2nd row" of people. No assigned seating or anything, everyone was just squashed together, standing up. Good because we got really close, but bad because our feet and knees were about dead by the end of the night! I found some pictures on flickr taken by a girl who was just 1 or two "people rows" directly behind us.

So not too shabby!

We were going to try to wait afterwards to see if we could meet her/get an autograph/take a picture with her, but... well, let's just say that I was pretty keen on getting to the ladies room! And I hadn't been able to up until the end because we were smashed up in the front. Plus, the camera wasn't working... etc, etc. And figuring that the bathroom would be pretty busy right after the show, we decided to head over to Crown Burgers to use their restroom and have a bite to eat.

YUMMMM! We were starving and so thirsty after that concert, so everything tasted heavenly and scrumptulicious. I ordered the 'Crown Burger' which is basically a cheeseburger with a layer of pastrami. It was much better than I expected. They're worth a visit, even though they are a little pricey (about $7.50 for my meal and $8.50 for Jared's.)

All in all, a very fun evening had we!

This is the best video I can find of the night so far:

  1. After you mentioned you where going to see her I looked her up and found a few songs I really liked too! You always found these great singers I had never even heard of!

  2. Could you really hear all those people singing and talking. I would be so annoyed. Who sings folding chair? Regina Spektor. Let's keep it that way!
