Good news!

We are soooo blessed!

A couple of weeks ago, Jared was laid off at BPI Dental because they found someone who had a bachelor's degree and was willing to be paid the same amount as Jared, so they dropped him. I was shocked when he told me, but quickly after the news, I found myself feeling optimistic and thinking this must be a blessing in disguise. Thank goodness I was right!

Jared applied to a bunch of places and got a good amount of interviews. Most of the jobs he interviewed for were offered to him, and he started at one last week. It was a pretty good job, better than BPI and he was happy to be working there. He even got home at 3:30 everyday, which was awesome for me! However, he only worked there for 3 days before he got yet another job offer - this time it was from Blue Host. It had better pay, so he took the offer and today was his first day.

At BPI Dental, Jared wasn't getting any perks at all - just an hourly wage. At Blue Host, he's getting paid more, receiving medical, dental, and vision benefits along with paid time off, sick leave, and a raise after he is there for a year. He also said there are opportunities for advancement, and that they are building an awesome break room with an Xbox among other things. He will get Thanksgiving and Christmas off (paid) and they have fun parties where you can get cash prizes, etc. etc. :) Also, Blue Host is a very solid, popular and well-known web hosting company that isn't going anywhere.

So long story short, we are SOOOO happy that he was laid off! We feel very blessed, and this was a much needed blessing now that we have Isaac in our lives. We are so thankful!
