Just a random picture to display our coolness to the world.
I found a really good recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies. It's good. BUT I wanted to see if I could alter it a little bit to make it even better. And I think I've succeeded. It's the perfect crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-and-gooey-on-the-inside sort of cookie. And they're small enough that you don't feel guilty eating a few. :) I now bring to you my first ever official recipe, by me, for me, and... for everyone else who would like to try it out...
Da da da dummmm! (drumroll, please)
Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites
by Alisa de Hoyos
Preheat oven to 350°.
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract (imitation vanilla works fine)
Mix the above ingredients together in large bowl.
---
1 tsp. vinegar
Then add above ingredient into mixture.
---
1/2 tsp. sea salt, finely ground
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. mini chocolate chips (or 1 cup if you want more!)
Add the remaining ingredients above and mix together until just combined. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place onto slightly greased (or parchment paper-ed) cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes, or until just BARELY browned on edges.
Yum!
Yum -- this looks so good! Do you think I have to use sea salt? I don't have mini chips, but as soon as I can get some, I'm trying this recipe!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing regular salt wouldn't make much of a difference. :) They are berry good!
ReplyDeleteThey sound delicious! I think I shall make some tomorrow!
