soof-yahn

On November 1st, Jared and I went to the Sufjan Stevens concert in SLC. I was super stoked, as this was the only other concert I wanted to see ever since I saw Regina Spektor live. It was interesting, to say the least. I am used to seeing Sufjan in this fashion:

But the concert was more along the lines of this:

and this:

It was actually really entertaining and funny to see him dancing. He reminded me a lot of William Hung when he danced. And Indie/Hipster Kids.

But (here's a video of the SLC concert) he also performed a few of his calmer songs:

I was surprised to find out that Jared really enjoyed the concert! I was scared he would think I was a weirdy for wanting to see this concert so badly, but we had a lot of fun and it was actually really fun to see everyone dancing around on stage and having a good time. We both agreed we would see this show again. It was a great night!

  1. I really like Sufjan Stevens. I am not a concert person, sounds like it was pretty fun.
