Mumbo Jumbo

Well, due to the lack of comments related to Pectus Excavatum on my last post, I'm going to assume none of my immediate family has the condition, which means it must not be hereditary in our case. It would've been interesting to find out someone else had it, though.

Speaking of interesting conditions, I recently found out I have Vitiligo. I was going to just keep it to myself, but I decided it's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of (kudos to this girl and this guy) -- and I may as well just share the discovery, since someday it may spread to the point where it is no longer hidden by clothing, which means it will be out in the open then anyway. Of course, I'm wondering again if anyone else in our family has it as well, but I'm kind of doubting it.

Aside from all that medical mumbo jumbo, here are some videos of Isaac for those of you who have not been following my posts on Facebook:

  1. The videos are so cute! In the second one it sounds like Isaac is trying to either say something really important or sing. It just makes me smile...thanks for sharing!

  2. My mom has vitiligo! She's had it ever since she was a child. Did you just recently start getting it? If you have any questions let me know and I can ask her. She's gone through EVERYTHING it seems like so she knows a bunch of different treatments. She doesn't have a lot of spots on her face but the ones she has she dyes with this special stuff she either made or bought. Most of it she has on her body.
Those videos are great! I love seeing people with vitiligo that are so confident. They're beautiful.

  4. Ooh I will definitely have to remember that if I ever need advice! Right now it's really mild, so I'm fine with leaving it alone, but if it ever spreads like crazy I may want to know how to conceal it better.
