All ten of you who requested to be allowed to read our blog now that it is private: Hello. How are you? It's a little lonely around here now, with our blog door shut and all.
Of course, there are those who I know checked our blog regularly, but never commented. Hundreds of those, indeed. Thousands, even. Not to toot my own horn or anything... I'm just letting you all know that you should feel very lucky to be the only 10 people out of the millions of humans that begged to read this blog after making it private. Very lucky indeed.
(anyway.)
I promise I'm not upset about the lack of readers around here - I just think it's a humorous situation. But it does make for a cozy little blog, I must admit.
So not much, as usual, is going on in our lives. The sad news of the week: I had to cancel my Pharmacy Tech class so that we could use the refund money to pay Jared's tuition when school starts. But soon, (hopefully), I will be making the big bucks (or medium bucks) with this whole work-at-home thingamawho that I'm doing. I haven't officially started yet, as I'm trying to crawl my way up a level or two right from the get-go. You see, they start you out on "Tier C", which means that you have to scrape for projects for at least a month and get paid very minimal amounts of money for it, basically. So, since I have worked for them before, I am trying my best to take a shortcut and avoid that situation altogether. That would be wonderful, indeed.
In exactly one week we will be celebrating our 1-year anniversary. Time sure has flown by. I can't believe it's been a whole year! I also can't believe how fun it has been. Of course, it's not without its 'trials and tribulations' - but the good makes up for the occasional bad 49202985092 times over. I love you, Jared husband faced man!
Note: We will be eating year-old cake a week from now. Delicious to my bones.
That is all for now, dear ten readers. I hope you enjoyed this awkward post of mine. If you couldn't tell, I am quite bored at the moment.
OH I almost forgot! I got a new laptop. I know, I know - we're poor and junk like that. But it was only $380 after 10% cash back, and I also had a good sum of money in my Paypal account due to my website adventures of late, so we ultimately only spent no more than $200 out of our 'real' money on this fancy shmancy laptop that I love dearly. Specs: 320GB Hard Drive, 3GB Memory, 2.1 GHz dual-core processor (not amazing, but good enough), Windows Vista Home Premium, ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics Card, Wireless-N connection, Webcam, etc. etc. It's pretty nice, okay? At least I think so. [Edit Moment: I should probably mention WHY I bought this laptop. Reason is: my iMac is wayyyy too slow with Photoshop and things for me to ever be a happy camper working on it for my new job. And the only other computer we had was Jared's lil Netbook, which he will be using for school, and I will not have access to. So it became clear that this was a necessary purchase in the life of us.]
Anyway, I better run off now. Til next time...
Thanks for letting me in.
ReplyDeleteWhen I went private like no one (including you) started asking to be invited until after I had gone private. I waited weeks to actually make the switch too after announcing it. And I don't think Jill EVER asked to be a reader of mine. What a poo.
ReplyDeleteI feel special to know i'm one of the lucky ten. As for the rest of them ... You snooze you loose! ( I do realize they can't read this but oh well!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update!
